Return & Exchange Policy
You are entitled to return or exchange your purchase from Pet Stop Canada within 30 days from the date of purchase. All products returned or exchanged must have original packaging and all contents must be in "like-new" condition. After 30 days, a store credit will be applied. If you are having any problems or issues with any of your products, please reach out to our team at 403-226-2717 so we can assist you further.
Refund amounts exclude shipping charges or any other add-on charges to and from your location. It is the customers responsibility to pay for return shipping of the product they are wanting to return or exchange. We cannot be responsible for items that are lost during transit when being returned, therefore we recommend high-valued items be returned with tracking and coverage.
Credits or refunds are issued within two weeks upon receiving your return in the Pet Stop Canada office and inspected to be in "like-new" condition.
All customized or personalized items are FINAL SALE.
Products that are purchased in a specialty colour/pattern (ie. Bronze & Silver PlexiDor products and Dogtra Wetlands & Black Edition e-collars) have an automatic 15% restocking fee.

Return & Exchange Policy only applies to customers that purchased products directly through Pet Stop Canada either online at www.petstopcanadastore.com or by phone at 1(800)668-2812 / (403)226-2717.
Pet Stop Canada products are shipped Canada-wide only.
- Online orders will be processed and shipped within 1-3 business days in the order it was received. Exceptions apply depending on product availability. Orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the following business day.
- Pet Stop Canada is not responsible for any late shipments, including expedited or guaranteed shipping, that do not deliver on time due to holidays, weekends, or any delay from the shipping company.
- If the shipment is returned due to an incorrect or invalid address it is at the expense of the client for the product to be shipped out again.
You will receive a notification (via email) once your order has been shipped.
Lettermail shipping option does NOT include tracking or insurance. Therefore Pet Stop Canada is not responsible for any lost packages, and will not be responsible to replace any lost items.
Pet Stop Canada is not responsible for any lost or stolen products once it has been accepted and processed by the shipping company (ie. Canada Post, UPS, FedEx, etc.). All disputes must go directly through the shipping company.
Pet Stop Canada ships Canada Post, unless requested by the customer. If you require a different postal service, please give our team a call at 403-226-2717 so we can accommodate you.
Orders placed over the phone are processed right away or shortly after, therefore changes to phone orders cannot be guaranteed after it has been processed and prepared for shipment.
Plexidor pet doors come with a 10 Year Warranty. Electric pet doors come with a 5 Year Warranty. While under warranty, any defective part will be repaired or replaced free-of-charge, shipping charges apply. (Labor is not covered.)
Limited Warranty for Dogtra products purchased from Pet Stop Canada.
Dogtra products shall be free of defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year from the date of purchase. The warranty covers the cost of repair (parts and labor) or replacement (if repair is not feasible) of a defective Dogtra product during said one-year period. For such repaired or replaced products, the remaining portion of the original warranty period, or ninety (90) days, whichever is longer, shall apply. Dogtra, at its sole discretion, shall determine whether to repair or replace a product covered by the Warranty.
Warranty does not cover the price of shipping too and from the Dogtra facility in the USA, or shipping to and from customer if the product is to be replaced.
The warranty does not cover damage, loss, or deterioration to your Dogtra product caused: by misuse, neglect, abuse, or other improper handling of the product; by failure to follow use or care instructions; by use of the product for other than its intended purpose; by accident or natural forces such as fire or flooding; or by normal wear and tear such as scratches to the product surface.
The warranty also does not cover Dogtra products that: are purchased from non-authorized dealers; are purchased outside of the United States or Canada; have been damaged during shipment (even if Pet Stop Canada paid or arranged for shipping); have been modified or tampered with in any manner; are opened or repaired by anyone other than Dogtra; or have serial numbers that have been altered or defaced.

Lifetime Equipment Warranty
Pet Stop's lifetime warranty is limited to: OT-300 Transmitter, Ultra Tuff Receiver, Ecolite HO Receiver and Ecolite LINK Receiver. The warranty covers everything except loss or theft. Pet Stop Canada will replace any of the above products for the first year from the purchase date at no cost of the product. Shipping is not included in the warranty. After the first year from purchase, there will be a $50 warranty processing fee applied plus shipping for any warranty.
Two-Year Limited Warranty
Pet Stop's two-year limited warranty is limited to: PCC200 Pro Transmitter, and PCC200 Receiver. The warranty covers everything except loss or theft. Pet Stop Canada will replace any of the above products for the first year from the purchase date at no cost of the product. Shipping is not included in the warranty. After the first year from purchase, there will be a $50 warranty processing fee applied plus shipping for any warranty. After the two-year warranty has expired, it is at the customers expense to replace the product at full price or purchase an extended warranty. Teflon Jacketed Wire
Pet Stop Canada's double jacketed Teflon coated copper wire has a lifetime deterioration guarantee. This covers any deterioration in the Teflon jacket whether installed above or below ground. This does NOT cover any damage or breaks caused by humans, animals, vehicles or weather (freezing, thawing, snow, rain, mud, water etc.). Pet Stop Canada will replace the deteriorated wire at no cost of the product according to the warranty criteria. Shipping is not included in warranty.
